Sometimes we feel alone in our pain and stuck in negative patterns. Reiki's natural system of healing helps us release our pain, take responsiblity for our lives and shift towards becoming more peaceful and loving. Life's pain transforms to healing when we begin the journey of loving and forgiving ourselves and others.
Reiki can be learned to give to oneself or others, or received as a Reiki treatment from a practitioner. Reiki, spiritual healing energy from our Source, quiets the mind and releases emotional pain and stress suppressed in the body's energy system. Mind and body begin to heal together. Deeper insight and clarity often arise in the quiet of Reiki, as a door opens to connect us with our inner wisdom.
Reiki Treatments
Reiki treatments are given with compassion and understanding at Emerging Light Healing Centre. I am grateful to lend my hands and heart to the One Healer. Relax on a Reiki table as you receive Reiki through hands gently held in place on various areas of your head and body, bringing the mind and body to balance. Rates for Reiki treatments are $80/hr or $110/1.5 hr. Special Packages are also available that are described in the Services link of this website.
Reiki Classes
Mikao Usui, a Japanese monk, divinely received Reiki during his spiritual awakening, as well as the understanding of how to pass it on to others. The "Usui Shiki Ryoho" form of Reiki (Usui System of Natural Healing) honours the way Reiki was brought to the west from Japan in the 1930s by Hawayo Takata.
The first degree Reiki class begins a path of inner transformation that accelerates with giving yourself Reiki regularly, as well as receiving treatments from an experienced practitioner. As we let go of negativity, we bring more peace into our lives. Learn self-treatment as well as how to treat others with Reiki. Family, friends, pets and plants can all benefit from Reiki. The class is held four days in a row, three hours per day. Students receive four attunements, one each day, to connect the student to Reiki. In addition to learning how to give Reiki, the history, lineage and spiritual precepts of Reiki are also covered.
The second degree Reiki class is taken after some time to integrate what first degree offers. The additional attunement for the second degree starts a process of deeper healing of one's life with Reiki. In the second degree, learn how to send distant/absentee healing as well as focussed mental-emotional healing.
YOGA CLASSES
Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT) is for any level of student including the absolute beginner. 1:1 classes are adjusted to each student. Learn how to relax, stretch and strengthen your body. Classes include breathwork and meditation. Same rates as Reiki treatments
