About Rashné
Finding Reiki during a challenging time in my life was a pivotal moment in my journey. Reiki treatments started me on the path of letting go of unprocessed emotions and negative patterns of thinking. Taking Reiki classes took me deeper into my healing. My relationships began to improve and my ability to cope with life's challenges was strengthened. Life continues to grow me with the help of regular self-treatment with Reiki.
My Reiki training starting in 2000, and the ensuing years of experience with Reiki allows me to help others with their healing through treatments and/or classes; Teaching classes is an honour for me as it empowers students to help themselves.
Reiki nourishes one's connection to Source, to others, and to all life. Regular practice of Reiki, yoga and "A Course in Miracles" informs my life and work with others. David R. Hawkins, Eckhart Tolle, Bernadette Roberts and Stephen Levine are some of the teachers who inspire my journey.
I am deeply grateful to my Reiki Master and spiritual mentor, Ellen Sutherland, as well as the rest of my Reiki lineage, Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hyashi, Hawayo Takata, Phyllis Furumoto, and Johannes Reindl. I received first degree Reiki in 2000, second degree in 2001, and was initiated as a Reiki Master in 2005.
My life path has included raising a family, environmental engineering, land conservation, Dundas Town councillor, art, writing, teaching yoga and Reiki. I offer Reiki treatments and classes at Emerging Light Healing Centre in Dundas; and have also offered Reiki at the Hamilton YWCA, hospitals and hospice settings. I am honoured to help others with their healing journey.
